Professional Guitarist, Composer, Multi instrumentalist
Barry's early career as a semi-professional guitarist playing lead, rhythm and providing vocal harmonies, established a solid foundation for his later musical endeavours.
Moving to Queensland in 1993, he established a successful professional guitar tuition business, later expanding to include bass guitar and keyboard.
Inspired by various solo fingerstyle & classical guitarists, he developed a solo instrumental repertoire on acoustic guitar and commenced his performing career in 1994.
Playing at various venues including Restaurants, Cafes, Weddings, Parties, Display Homes, Art Galleries and other private and corporate events, he has acquired a reputation as a quality solo instrumental guitarist on and around the Sunshine Coast area.
Developing a digital recording facility in 2004, he commenced the production of audio recordings with initial albums being cover material to demonstrate the acoustic guitar repertoire. A cover album including electric guitar, acoustic rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard demonstrated his ability with these other instruments.
Focusing on composing original music produced his Guitarama album in 2006 featuring guitar and other instruments.
Future original albums will include the Harp Guitar.
