Terms And Conditions (Effective from 1 July 2010)
Appointments
- Appointments are only made strictly with payment in advance in accordance with the fee schedule. For multiple bookings, payment by installments may be available but with payment of a deposit at the time of booking to cover at least one appointment in advance, and payment of installments to complete the balance in full no later than at the third appointment. If you are commencing as a new student, payment is to be made at the first appointment for that lesson, and also for at least the next appointment if continuing lessons.
Fee Schedule
- 1 appointment $ 35.00
- 2 or 3 appointments $ 34.00 each
- 4 or 5 appointments $ 33.00 each
- 6 or 7 appointments $ 32.00 each
- 8 or 9 appointments $ 31.00 each
- 10 or more $ 30.00 each
Appointment Duration
- The standard minimum duration is 30 minutes; one hour also available pro rata.
Appointment Availability
- Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
- Often available on School Holidays except 2 weeks for Christmas / New Year.
- Often available on Public Holidays and School Pupil Free days.
Appointment Frequency
- Weekly is recommended.
- Fortnightly is subject to a suitable vacancy being available.
- Casual not available in peak periods (Monday - Friday 3 pm - 7pm).
Payment
- Only accepted by cash in advance ( cheques and bank account direct credits by special arrangement for approved customers only).
- Payments cannot be refunded for missed or cancelled appointments for any reason.
- Payments are not transferable to another appointment, booking period, or to other persons outside of your immediate family.
- Appointments will not be confirmed until payment in advance is made.
Missed Appointments
- If you do not attend an appointment, or cancel an appointment or otherwise not attend or advise me for any reason, the schedule fee must still be paid for the time reserved for your appointment, without exceptions.
- Missed appointments can be recovered by arranging a make up lesson at another mutually convenient time, but must be taken within two weeks of the missed appointment, otherwise the lesson fee will be forfeited.
- Make up appointments are to be arranged when you contact me to advise about missing a scheduled appointment.
- Deferring a lesson to the next scheduled appointment (without payment for the missed lesson) is not accepted.
