Terms And Conditions

Fees (effective till 30 June 2010 - See link below for Terms & Conditions from 1 July 2010 )

• $ 30.00 per half hour.
• $ 60.00 per hour.

Bookings

• only accepted strictly with payment in advance.

Lesson duration

• standard minimum duration is 30 minutes; one hour also available.

Lesson Availability

• Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
• Often available on School Holidays except two weeks over Christmas / New Year.
• Often available on Public Holidays and School Pupil Free days.

Lesson frequency

• weekly is recommended.
• fortnightly is subject to a suitable vacancy being available.
• casual outside of peak periods being Monday - Friday 3 pm - 7pm.

Payment

• by cash only ( cheques and bank account direct credits by special arrangement for approved customers only).
• whole term or part term in advance preferred. ("term" means Queensland State School Term)
• must be at least one appointment in advance.
• cannot be refunded for missed or cancelled appointments.
• is not expected for known absences such as planned school camps, provided notice is given at the start of the term.
• is not transferable to another term, or to other persons outside of your immediate family.

Deposit

• a deposit, being a minimum of 2 x half hour lessons, or 1 x one hour lesson, is essential no later than the last lesson of each term including the Christmas break, to confirm the next term appointments if not continuing lessons over the school holidays.
• the balance of the term fees is due and payable no later than the appointment at which the deposit is used up, if paying by the term.
• an advance payment is due and payable no later than the appointment at which the deposit is used up if paying weekly or some other frequency.

Missed appointments

• for any reason will be charged for at the regular rate and be deducted from the advance payment credit, which must be reinstated at the next appointment if you are paying under a weekly arrangement.
• can be recovered by arranging a make up lesson at another mutually convenient time preferably in the same week.
• deferring a lesson to the next scheduled appointment is not recommended as missed appointments cannot be made up after the term in which they were missed.
